Eurofins Central Analytical Laboratory is searching for an Inside Sales Manager in Des Moines, IA.
Inside Sales Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
Applies good practices in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
Regular attendance and punctuality
Understand customer needs and requirements
Responsible for client interaction and ongoing sales process improvement
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Research market identifying key markets and opportunities for Eurofins informative content
Investigate additional opportunities for Eurofins brand awareness
Provide support to all sales team members for Food Safety Systems services
Collaborate with marketing and sales for business collateral, website content, tradeshows/conferences and campaigns
Maintain and expand database of prospects
Work closely with FSS sales manager to develop and nurture leads
Utilize social media for brand awareness
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, services, schedules, etc.
Recommends changes in service by evaluating results and competitive developments
Plan and work towards meeting sales targets and budgets
Create and send customized proposal of services in respect to scheme requirements
Attend tradeshows, training courses and face-face meetings as needed
Input sales activity into relevant systems
Provide regular sales updates for efforts
Continually keep informed of standard and industry updates
Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
Performs other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate would possess :
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Basic Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in food related or bioscience discipline
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Des Moines, Iowa are encouraged to apply.
